Create Fun & Connection in these times, here’s how

You’re home and bored or just feel a little cooped up these days.

I wanted to share a fun creative idea that I came up with to spark your creative energies too.

My sister and brother in law were suppose to come and visit me next week. But of course they will not be flying due to the situation we are in.

When she visits we go to Palm Springs to visit my dad and step mom. The entire week we are with them we play games. All sorts of games. We go to the casino to play bingo, we play group card games with them and their friends and we play board games while hanging out in their home. It is one of my sheer pleasures in life to be with the people I love and play and laugh.

But, we can’t do that right now. Sooooo I got creative and they all played along with my crazy idea. With the great use of technology we are using all of our phones and my sister and I are using our computers too so that we can connect. My sister and I use an app on our phone and call my Step mother’s phone and her phone is taped to a over the desk lamp looking down over the table so we can see the board. Then from my dad’s phone and my sister and my computer we all call into zoom and dad’s phone is set on a near by counter so we can see each other.

It took a little playing around to make it work, but it did!! Yay! we laughed and played and had so much fun. My step mom even offered us homemade cookies and ice cream, like she usually offers us a snack. That was the only thing we couldn’t do. But that’s ok — it saved me a few calories. LOL

I just wanted to share my creative way of connecting and having fun in hopes that it will spark your ideas to create some ways to both connect to others and have fun too.

To Your Happiness,
